Commissioning jewellery
Tina often works to commission, creating unique pieces of jewellery to order. She can design and make a bespoke piece, or take inherited jewellery and refashion it.
If your ideas are a little uncertain at first, don’t worry – Tina can guide and advise you. The process starts with a no-obligation consultation, either in the Bath workshop or by phone. Visiting Tina in her workshop is often very productive as together you can examine stones and metals. During this conversation Tina will talk through your ideas, get to understand your likes and dislikes and make suggestions about metals, stones and settings.
When you are happy with the specification and budget, the next stage is for Tina to make up a sample piece in silver. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at this stage, which usually takes 2 weeks.
Only once you have approved the sample will Tina make up the final piece. This process usually takes 4 weeks, although shorter lead times are often possible. All pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
A further 25% non-refundable deposit is required before the piece is made, with the balance due on collection of the item.
